Listen to the part that talks about 8 LVMPD officers working for the LVPPA at a tone of $1.4 million annually in salary alone, on tax payer’s dime. These cops sit on the Executive Board of the LVPPA they don’t do any police work, they don’t even wear the uniform. The LVPPA is a private entity that collects union dues. The union should pay for the staffing of their own organization from their dues. Why should tax payers flip the bill? This union is designed to protect police officers but yet tax payers are flipping the bill. In Arizona this action is ruled unconstitutional; you cannot take tax dollars to staff a private entity.
