Nevada Constitutional and State Assembly Candidates Compete for the “Veterans In Politics” Endorsement

Candidates carefully vetted for Veterans in Politics Int. Endorsement on April 26th, 27th, & May 3rd

Las Vegas, Nevada (May 5, 2014) – – – Veterans In Politics International, Inc. (VIPI), today announced that it has endorsed another eleven Constitutional and Legislative Candidates for the Great State of Nevada.

VIPI endorsed three candidates for interviews held on Saturday April 26th for Nevada State Assembly Districts 13 thru 18.
VIPI endorsed five candidates for interviews held on Sunday April 27th for Nevada State Assembly Districts 19 thru 35. A “No Endorsement” was made for Nevada State Assembly Districts 19 and 20, because there was lack of participation.

VIPI endorsed three candidates for interviews held on Saturday May 3rd for Nevada State Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Controller, Attorney General, Nevada State Assembly (Districts 37, 41, and 42). A “No Endorsement” was made for Nevada State Treasurer, because there was lack of participation.

The VIPI endorsement process is painstakingly fair, unbiased, impartial, non-partisan, and transparent. It is conducted by 100% volunteer efforts involving people with extremely diverse personal backgrounds and varying political views. VIPI interview panels vary and differentiate at every interview event.

It was created to reflect a pure process, highlighting true opinions and concerns of everyday Americans. All interviews are advertised well in advance, and panel seats are available to the public upon request. The general public is also welcome and encouraged to attend and participate.

The process is always, taped, unedited and does not provide questions to candidates prior to the event. The VIPI panel member’s identities are not released until the day of the interviews to ensure neutral and fair endorsement hearings and include both veteran and non-veteran panelists.

VIPI does all of this for a love of community, in an effort to educate the public on the candidates running for office, and is proud to be the only group in the State of Nevada that endorses candidates with this type of transparency.

Interview panel members included: Karen Steelmon (VIPI Auxiliary Director), Tony Baca (Mortgage Industries Professional), Steve Delao (Project Manager), Alicia Green (PR March of Dimes), Tom Blanchard (US Navy/President Veterans Real Estate), Daphne Lee (Nevada Director for PANDA), Dr. Danielle Duperret, Jay Geraldi (US Marine), Michael Broadway (Realtor), Mike Angell (Founder Nevada Legal Forms & Tax Services), Brian Bashant (US Army/Founder of Fallen Not Forgotten), Cheryl Prater (Business Owner), Andre Haynes (Founder of Endeavor Media Group), John Schutt Jr. (Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer), Melody Howard (US Army), Eric Morelli (Administrator), Jennifer Barrier (Political Fundraiser), Michael Mazur (Nevada Attorney), Dr. Jasmine Brooks (Nevada Attorney), Melissa Broadway (Political Consultant), Amber Geiman (Paralegal), Rowena Krifaton (Founder Shine Family Foundation), Jim Jonas (VIP Talk Show Host) and George Chehade (Invocation) on April 26th and May 3rd, Dave Jochman (Invocation) former Chaplain of the Marine Corps League Detachment 186 on April 27th.
