“Public Invited to Attend the Joint Veterans Judicial Endorsement Award Ceremony”

Voters, community members, and judicial candidates are encouraged to attend the Joint Veterans Judicial Endorsement Award Ceremony on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM (1700–1800 hrs) at the West Sahara Library.

This public event will recognize judicial candidates who earned endorsements after participating in one of Nevada’s most comprehensive and demanding judicial interview processes.

The ceremony is hosted by Veterans In Politics International in partnership with the Nevada Veterans Association, with participation from Armed Forces Chamber USA, LLC.

Community members are encouraged to attend, meet the endorsed candidates, and witness the formal presentation of endorsements to those who demonstrated exceptional qualifications, professionalism, and commitment to public service.

A Transparent and Widely Viewed Judicial Interview Process

The Joint Veterans Judicial Endorsement Interviews were conducted in three rounds on February 21, February 28, and March 7, 2026. Candidates seeking positions in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada, Justice Courts, and Municipal Courts participated in detailed interviews before a panel of community and veteran leaders.

Each interview session was broadcast live on Facebook, receiving thousands of views from voters and members of the community. Every interview was also recorded and archived on the Veterans In Politics YouTube channel, allowing the public to review each candidate’s responses, qualifications, and judicial philosophy.

Organizers expressed their gratitude to every candidate who participated in the demanding interview process.

We sincerely thank all the candidates who stepped forward and participated in these extensive interviews. Running for judicial office requires transparency, professionalism, and a willingness to answer difficult questions before the community.”

Panel members also volunteered many hours of preparation and service to ensure the interviews remained fair, professional, and informative for voters.

Encouraging Civic Participation

Organizers emphasize that the endorsement ceremony is not only about recognizing candidates but also about encouraging public participation in Nevada’s judicial elections.

Veterans organizations have long advocated for transparency and accountability in the judicial selection process. By publicly interviewing candidates and sharing those interviews online, voters have the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to serve on the bench.

Attendees at the ceremony will be able to meet candidates, learn more about the upcoming judicial races, and witness the formal presentation of endorsements.
