VETERANS IN POLITICS ANNOUNCES 2026 GENERAL ELECTION ENDORSEMENTS — VETERANS STANDING TOGETHER FOR STRONGER LEADERSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND JUSTICE!

JOINT VETERANS ENDORSEMENTS — JUDICIAL, NON-JUDICIAL, AND NORTHERN NEVADA CANDIDATES

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA — October 14, 2026

Veterans In Politics International, Inc. (VIPI), in conjunction with the Nevada Veterans Association (NVA), is proud to present its 2026 General Election Joint Veterans Endorsements and VIPI Consulting, LLC recommendations!

For more than three decades, Veterans In Politics International has worked to educate voters, promote government accountability, encourage public participation, and recognize candidates who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and a commitment to the communities they seek to serve.

Founded in 1993, Veterans In Politics has established itself as an organization dedicated to giving veterans and everyday citizens a voice in the political process.

OUR MESSAGE IS SIMPLE: WE ENDORSE PEOPLE, NOT POLITICAL PARTIES!

Whether a candidate is Republican, Democrat, Independent, or nonpartisan, our focus is on the individual, their qualifications, their record, and their ability to serve the public.

The accompanying 2026 General Election endorsement flyer recognizes candidates seeking judicial, legislative, congressional, statewide, county, municipal, and education-related offices throughout Nevada.

JUDICIAL CANDIDATES — JUSTICE MUST COME BEFORE POLITICS!

Few elected positions have a more direct impact on people’s lives than those held by judges.

Judges make decisions involving families, children, businesses, constitutional rights, personal freedom, and the administration of justice.

Veterans In Politics has spent years observing Nevada courtrooms, interviewing judicial candidates, and advocating for transparency and accountability within the judicial system.

Our 2026 judicial endorsement and recommendation list includes:

  • Judge Veronica Barisich — District Court, Department 5

  • Austin Beaumont — District Court, Department 8

  • Judge Michelle Leavitt — District Court, Department 12

  • Judge Jennifer Schwartz — District Court, Department 17

  • Alex Hubert — District Court, Department 21

  • Judge Jasmin Lilly-Spells — District Court, Department 23

  • Judge Noreen DeMonte — District Court, Department 28

  • Judge Jacob Reynolds — District Court, Department 29

  • Judge Jerry Wiese II — District Court, Department 30

  • Judge Joanna Kishner — District Court, Department 31

  • Patricia Marr — Family Division, Department D

  • Judge Kerri Maxey — Family Division, Department N

  • Judge Mary Perry — Family Division, Department P

  • Judge Bill Henderson — Family Division, Department R

  • Kristine Brewer — Family Division, Department S

  • Judge Alicia Albritton — Henderson Municipal Court, Department 1

  • Amanda Pellizzari — Las Vegas Municipal Court, Department 1

  • Jessica Green — Las Vegas Municipal Court, Department 2

A special acknowledgment goes to Judge Mary Perry, a United States Air Force veteran, whose military service brings an additional perspective of service and responsibility to the Clark County Family Court bench.

Our position remains clear: Judicial candidates should be evaluated on their qualifications, experience, temperament, integrity, and respect for the law—not simply their political connections or popularity.

NON-JUDICIAL CANDIDATES — LEADERSHIP AT EVERY LEVEL OF GOVERNMENT!

From the United States Congress to the Nevada Legislature, county commissions, city councils, and school boards, elected officials make decisions that directly affect taxpayers, veterans, families, businesses, and future generations.

The 2026 endorsement flyer recognizes candidates including:

Federal and State Offices

  • Cody K. Whipple — Congressional District 4

  • Stavros Anthony — Nevada Lieutenant Governor

  • Drew Johnson — Nevada State Treasurer

  • George Harris — State Senate District 8

  • Andrew Teitelbaum — Assembly District 2

  • Kelly Quinn — Assembly District 5

  • Joey Charafi — Assembly District 8

  • Nancy “Nan” Roecker — Assembly District 12

  • Crystal Newton — Assembly District 18

  • Al Rojas — State Senate District 21

  • Shenea Booth — Assembly District 22

  • Rebecca Edgeworth — Assembly District 35

  • Jill Douglass — Assembly District 37

County, Municipal, and Education Offices

  • Manny Kess — Clark County Commission, District E

  • Becky Harris — Clark County Commission, District F

  • Jim Gibson — Clark County Commission, District G

  • Tamicka N. Washington — Clark County Assessor

  • Howell Shaw — Clark County Clerk

  • Carrie Cox — Henderson City Council, Ward III

  • David Gomez — CCSD Trustee, District D

  • Irene Bustamante Adams — CCSD Trustee, District F

  • Paul Casey — CCSD Trustee, District G

These races matter because local government decisions often have the greatest immediate impact on our daily lives.

A special note regarding Commissioner Jim Gibson: I have known Jim Gibson for nearly three decades. My personal endorsement reflects my assessment of his character, experience, and public service, not his political party.

I refuse to allow partisan labels to dictate whom I can support.

People over party. Qualifications over political loyalty. Public service over partisan division.

NORTHERN NEVADA — OUR VETERANS’ VOICES REACH BEYOND LAS VEGAS!

Veterans In Politics recognizes that Nevada’s future is determined by voters throughout the entire state, not just Clark County.

Our Northern Nevada endorsements highlighted in the flyer include:

  • Rob Pierce — Washoe County Commissioner, District 5

  • Scott Keller — Lyon County Commissioner, District 2

Northern Nevada communities deserve elected representatives who understand their local priorities, infrastructure needs, economic challenges, and the importance of responsible government.

We are proud to recognize these candidates as part of our statewide voter education efforts.

OUR ENDORSEMENT PROCESS — NO SHORTCUTS, NO PURCHASED ENDORSEMENTS!

Veterans In Politics has long maintained an endorsement interview process designed to give participating candidates an opportunity to answer questions and present their qualifications before an independent panel.

Our process emphasizes:

  • In-person candidate interviews.

  • Candidates competing for the same office appearing on the same interview day.

  • Questions that are not provided to candidates in advance.

  • Interviews streamed publicly for transparency.

  • No fee charged to candidates to participate.

  • No guarantee of endorsement based on sponsorship or financial contributions.

I do not personally sit on the endorsement interview panels.

An endorsement should be earned, not purchased!

The flyer includes joint organizational endorsements, personal endorsements, and VIPI Consulting, LLC recommendations. These distinctions are important, and not every candidate listed necessarily received an endorsement through the same process.

A MESSAGE TO NEVADA VOTERS — YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE!

The 2026 General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

I encourage every registered voter to examine the candidates, review their qualifications, investigate their records, watch their interviews, and make an informed decision.

Do not vote for someone simply because they have an R or D next to their name.

Do not vote for someone simply because an organization, political party, or prominent individual tells you to.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK. ASK QUESTIONS. DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY.

Our veterans fought and sacrificed to defend the constitutional freedoms that allow Americans to participate in the democratic process.

One of the most important ways we honor that service is by exercising our right to vote responsibly.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2026 ENDORSED AND RECOMMENDED CANDIDATES!

On behalf of Veterans In Politics International, Inc., I extend my appreciation to the candidates who participated in our interview process and to the volunteers, panelists, veterans, and community members who helped make these efforts possible.

To every candidate who stepped forward to serve Nevada, thank you for your willingness to participate in the democratic process.
