War Declared On the Clark County Family Court System
On July 25th Veterans In Politics Court Observer visited the Regional Justice Center and observed Clark County Family Court Judge William S. Potter.
Judge Potter went from speaking English to Spanish depending on what litigants are before him, he also gives leeway to pro se litigants and advise them of a class that would help them to prepare their case.

TAX PAYERS COURT ROOM is owned by a Power Hungry and Unbalanced Court Marshal?!
On July 25th we observed Jennifer Elliot Clark County District Court Judge Family Division in the people’s courtroom. During that time one of our Court Observers were on their cell phone taking notes of the proceedings. Then the courtroom marshal “Rashida D. Newkirk” asked the court observer to secure their phone. The court observer responded and said “why are you allowing the attorney sitting in the audience to be on their phone and not allowing me to do the same?” Then the courtroom marshal Rashida D. Newkirk took offense to what was said and responded with the following:
“This is my courtroom, I can do what I want, if I want you off your cell and I want other people on their cell, I can do that, because this is my courtroom”.
We filed a complaint with the Clark County Family Court about this bias courtroom marshal.
If a courtroom marshal has the audacity to speak this way. What do you think the Judges are doing to litigants that appear before them?
