Family Court Judge Rena Hughes illegally denies the public access of a public courtroom
On June 27, 2018, the Veterans In Politics Court Observers were immediately kicked out on Jennifer Atton case we were instructed that it is a closed hearing, but here is the kicker in order to have a closed hearing one of the parties must request it during that days hearing. No one had a chance to even sit down before Rena Hughes kicked us out and illegally closed the hearing. So we obtained the video, now instead of 3 observers watching this case, we will now have thousands. The point is don’t deny the public from accessing public courtrooms.

Veterans In Politics International endorsed 35 candidates for election 2018. We don’t endorse candidates based on popularity, financial backing or party affiliation. We endorse because we believe that candidate is the best person for the job. With that said, unfortunately, we lost 17 candidates in the Primary Election. 5 candidates won their election or moving forward into the General Election, which would give us 17 candidates moving forward into the General election. We would like to thank all candidates for participating in this year’s election cycle and to encourage more candidates to take an active role within their community.
