Veterans In Politics video internet talk show interviewed Denise Ashurst candidate for Nevada State Assembly 23, born and raised in Yonkers New York.
Ashurst came from humble beginnings but strived for an education.
Ashurst came from a military family and she herself served in the United States Airforce retired after 20 years of active duty.
Ashurst spent ten years in the Netherlands where she raised her children as an active airman.
As a legislature, Ashurst would like to move forward with school choice and stop the trafficking of women.
