Column Title: “Victoria Seaman: The Toxic Legacy We Must Reject”

Las Vegas, Nevada

July 15, 2024

Victoria Seaman is a name that rings with discord rather than harmony in the corridors of our city hall. There are countless reasons why electing her would be a mistake of monumental proportions, each more concerning than the last. As I delve into just a few of these issues, it becomes clear why Victoria Seaman is not fit to lead our city.

  1. The Fistfights and Fractured Alliances:

Imagine a leader so divisive that even her colleagues cannot stand to support her. Tumultuous relationships and outright hostility have marked Victoria Seaman’s tenure at city hall. Reports of physical altercations with fellow council members have tainted her reputation irreparably. This isn’t just office politics gone awry; it’s a display of temperament and judgment that no city can afford in its leadership.

  1. One Vote, No Consensus:

In a governing body where consensus is key, Victoria Seaman stands alone. She frequently finds herself the solitary supporter of her proposals, rendering her powerless to enact any meaningful change. This adversarial approach paralyzes decision-making and underscores her inability to build bridges and garner support—an essential skill for any effective leader.

  1. The Grandstander with Empty Promises:

Victoria Seaman loves the spotlight, but her actions seldom match her grandiose promises. She rushes to the forefront of every issue, often taking positions at odds with the city’s best interests. Her penchant for publicity stunts and hollow gestures undermines the seriousness of governance and erodes public trust in our elected officials.

  1. Lawsuits Against the People:

Perhaps most egregious is Victoria Seaman’s penchant for litigation—not against external entities, but against the city she claims to serve. Her litigious nature has saddled taxpayers with unnecessary legal fees and diverted precious resources away from critical city services. How can we trust someone who sees fit to sue the community she purports to represent?

  1. The Call for Change:

As voters, we deserve leaders who unite rather than divide, prioritize service over self-interest, and uphold public office integrity. Victoria Seaman fails on all counts. Her tenure has been marred by controversy, incompetence, and a fundamental disregard for leadership responsibilities.

We can send a resounding message in the upcoming election that our city deserves better. It’s time to reject Victoria Seaman and choose a candidate who will embody the values of accountability, collaboration, and genuine commitment to the well-being of our community.

Let’s make our voices heard on election day—not just for change but for a future where our city hall is led by an individual who will inspire trust, foster unity, and work tirelessly for the betterment of all. The choice is clear: say no to Victoria Seaman and yes to a brighter, more cohesive future for our city.
